The Diary of A Single Dad - Eric Langston
The Diary of a Single Father takes us on a journey as we unpack and discover the essence and identity of Eric S. Langston. This book provides a roadmap to single fathers who seek to dispel the notion that fathers are not active participants in the lives of their children. We discuss the roles and responsibilities of a single father, and how to always remain active, present, and engaged. Single fatherhood is not easy, and it does not come with a guidebook, but life experiences become our biggest teacher. Fatherhood is amazing yet challenging, and it is one of the most selfless roles a man can have. However, he is sure that being a man did not make him a father—but being a father has made him a man!
Eric S. Langston is a native of Philadelphia, PA and the very proud father of his two daughters, Ariah and Amina. Eric values education, and is a life-long learner. He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science from Temple University; a Masters in Organizational Development and Leadership from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine: a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Chestnut Hill College; and he also has his Principal’s Certification for K-12. Eric is a preacher of the Gospel, and answered the call to ministry when he was 13 years old. Eric loves spending quality time with his daughters, along with shopping, and traveling. He is also committed to educating Black and brown children; and remains an advocate for social justice.
