Despite her many accomplishments, her genuine passion has been in helping others reach success. In 2006, Buie founded Bird’s Eye Entertainment, Inc., a full-service production company and talent management firm based in NY. “I created Bird’s Eye Entertainment, Inc. to not only produce quality work, but to also support others seeking positive paths in the entertainment industry”, said Buie. In response to her faith driven success and talent, her company, in just over 5 years, has grown tremendously. The company turned out a profit in its first year, producing remarkable projects including Bird’s Eye’s first network development deal for BET’s “Flip the Script”, as well as acquiring management deals with BET VJ, Alesha Renee, local Atlanta radio personality, Tangie Larkin, and celebrity hairstylist Noel of Noel New York Boutique and Salon of Brooklyn, NY. Presently, Bird’s Eye Entertainment, Inc. is focused primarily on executing it’s most ambitious project yet: online network, BEE-TV. This network serves as a platform for up-in-coming producers, directors, and writers from minority ethnic backgrounds to get the exposure they need to push their independent projects to new heights. “Ultimately, it is my hope that Bird’s Eye Entertainment, Inc. achieves not only commercial success, but also, serves as a means to promote positive minority images, activities and ambitions throughout the world”, said Buie.
