Pastor Barrington F. Goldson has been married for over 33 years to Elder Jo-Ann Goldson and together they have two children. He holds a MBA, Masters in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Education and Biblical Studies.

Pastor Goldson’s life’s motto is, “You Rise by Lifting Others.” He is the founder and senior pastor of Calvary Tabernacle, situated in the heart of Hempstead, Long Island, New York. He started this assembly with only his wife and 2 adult members; today the congregation is over 800. In 2006 they completed they $2.5 million dollar worship center that also has a full service banquet facility. In addition, there is a separate Youth Center, Children Center and Business Center that the church owns and operates. He has ministered weekly to this diverse congregation for over twenty two years and offers a fresh biblical perspective from his intellectual knowledge, extensive life experience and inspiration of God’s Word. He has ministered internationally in several countries including, Canada, South Africa, Mexico, Liberia, Jamaica and the United Kingdom.
